Happy Holidays from Adam and Stevie

Happy holidays to you, too, my sweet boys Adam and Stevie send holiday greetings. My husband suddenly passed away last year and I don't know what I'd do without those two boys who sleep with me every night and give me so much comfort. I truly believe I was meant to have those two precious boys.

Another Happy Tail!

Hope writes:

Hope you are well. Sam is doing very well. He had lots of fun watching all the leaves fall from the trees this year as usual and watches all the birds and squirrels in our yard.

He did have to have a mass removed from his leg but it was benign.

We ran a "Presidential Campaign" for him using the hashtag #SamSam2016. His platform was catnip, laps, and naps.

I've attached a very cute photo my husband took of him.

Best to you!

Happy Holidays, Luke!

Hilda writes:

I adopted Luke from your group a couple of years ago at Petsmart in Statesville.  He is such a joy and fetches like a dog.  He had two sisters.  I often wondered what happened to them.  They were yellow and white.  I don’t remember their names, but I remember they also started with an “L.”  I kept the name Luke.  Luke is gray and white and very pretty.  Here are a couple of updated pictures of Luke.

Beautiful Miss Kloe

Sarah writes:

Jean -
I just wanted to send you a picture update of Kloe (Miss Marple). She is such a lovely kitty—so friendly and fun! She has a very sweet and quiet meow when she wants something, loves to get pets all over her body! And she is currently good at running after foil balls—she even brings them back for me to throw again...sometimes :)

She and Wimsey get along great. They play and clean each other a lot. I've attached a picture of them in one of their favorite places—on the trundle bed in my studio in front of the window.

I hope you're well, Jean. Have a Merry Christmas! (I'm wondering how these kitties are going to do with a tree...guess we're about to find out!)

(here's what Kloe looked like when we first got her—such a cutie!)

We're Having a Tea Party and You're Invited!

You are invited to our 1st annual “Afternoon Tea Party” on Saturday, October 15 at 1 PM. For reservations call 704-838-l571.  We are limited on space, so call now!

If you cannot attend, please consider making a donation to help with spay/neuter, feeding and vetting our sixty plus cats and kittens.  We are a tax deductible registered charity and unlike other charities that pay large salaries, we are 100% volunteer run and 99% of our donations go to save cats.  We have saved almost 200 cats this year and placed them in loving homes.  Check out our Facebook page for pictures and comments.

You may go to our web page http://www.pawsandclawsnc.com to contribute with Paypal or send a donation to:

We need volunteers to help with our programs, so if you’re interested in helping save cats, call the number above.  We especially need people to help us do TNR and run our adoption programs at Petco in Mooresville and PetSmart in Statesville.  If you love cats, step up and volunteer today.  We can’t do it without you……

New “forever home” for kitten, Phantom, and a new buddy, Rusty, also!

Teresa writes:

Hope everything is going well. Everything here has gone better than I expected.  Phantom and Rusty get along wonderfully.  I keep them separated for the first 24 hours but after that, it was hard to keep them in separate rooms. Phantom ran out of the door into the family room and they have been fine with each other ever since.  As a matter of fact, they both slept in my bed together last night, one at my feet and one at my head.

Miss Kloe

Sarah writes:

Here's a recent photo of our little precocious kitty! She's sitting in a box of hand-made sketchbooks we've been working on for a few months - going to give them to incoming freshmen at Winthrop University.  Thanks so much for your care and love for Kloe...she is certainly a well-adjusted and a confident little kitty because of the way she was treated by you. We love her so much :)

Thanks again-
Sarah
